Ingredients

  • 1 cup of salted butter
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 cup of light brown sugar
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder

Directions

  1. Soften the butter.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the softened butter with the white and brown sugar.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter, beat until fluffy.
  6. Pour the flour bowl in.
  7. Add the chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. Cool down outside of the oven.

Notes

You can freeze extra dough, either rolled into balls or in a Ziploc. To use it, put the balls (or slices of frozen dough) on a baking tray in the cold oven and preheat to 350°F. Then, bake for 15 minutes.
