Ingredients
- 1 cup of salted butter
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 cup of light brown sugar
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
Directions
- Soften the butter.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a small bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened butter with the white and brown sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter, beat until fluffy.
- Pour the flour bowl in.
- Add the chocolate chips.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cool down outside of the oven.
Notes
You can freeze extra dough, either rolled into balls or in a Ziploc. To use it, put the balls (or slices of frozen dough) on a baking tray in the cold oven and preheat to 350°F. Then, bake for 15 minutes.
